Handling requests and complaints related to accessibility

Everyone has the right to request the digital accessibility of a website, mobile application, or any of their elements. You may also request information through an alternative method of access, for example, by having a non-digitally accessible document read out, or a video described, etc. The request should include the requester's contact details, specify the website or mobile application in question, and indicate the preferred method of contact. If the requester needs information through an alternative method, they should specify how they wish to receive it. The public entity should fulfil the request promptly, no later than 7 days after the request is made. If meeting this deadline is not possible, the public entity will inform the requester of when the request will be fulfilled, which should not exceed 2 months from the request date. If digital accessibility cannot be ensured, the public entity may propose an alternative method of access to the information. Should the public entity refuse to comply with the request for accessibility or an alternative method of access to information, the requester may file a complaint regarding the provision of digital accessibility of the website, mobile application, or their elements. After exhausting the procedure mentioned above, a complaint can also be submitted to the Ombudsman.
