A meeting with Sylwia Zientek, an author of popular books focusing on biographies of forgotten Polish female artists (“Only Them. Polish Art Without Men”), and the curator, Prof. Marta Smolińska, who co-created the ongoing exhibition from the collection of Neue Nationalgalerie Berlin, introducing to it works of Polish female artists. The discussion will centre around telling the history art anew, taking account of the works of numerous outstanding female artists, which have been neglected for decades. Both the acclaimed curator, Marta Smolińska, and the author, Sylwia Zientek, draw the feminine line along the canvas of the Polish art. The partner of the event, Alexander and Renata Camaro Foundation, is known for its involvement in Polish-German relations. During the meeting, the art by Polish female artists and the manner of popularising it in literature and on exhibitions in the global context will be discussed.
