"Kolorganism" - premiere solo exhibition by Sainer (Przemysław Blejzyk)

Przemysław Blejzyk (Sainer, born 1988) is one of the leading Polish artists of the new generation. At the Künstlerhaus in Vienna he will present his premiere solo exhibition entitled "Kolorganism".

The title of the exhibition refers to the leading idea of ​​the exhibition. Each work shown has an organic unity, just like the entire exhibition is composed of a number of the artist's works. They are a reflection of one organism in which each piece is necessary and has its own function, yet all of them interact with each other and create a harmonious entity, even when they change over time, as is the case with the presented animation. Combining static and dynamic media the exhibition explores the relationship between form and time.

Creating the harmonious composition of a painting and unity between all its elements is one of the main challenges in Sainer's work. The starting point for building a harmonious piece is nature. Although some of the works seem to be abstract, they reflect the structure, harmony, order and measure of the visible world.

By analyzing the landscape, the interaction of its individual elements, the variability of forms and colors over time, the artist transcends the limitations of ordinary vision and deepens the perception of forms and space. By offering a subjective image of reality, it invites viewers to rediscover what is known and seemingly known.

In his research, Blejzyk refers to the ideas of two great 20th-century art theoreticians: Wasyl Kandyński and Władysław Strzemiński. In the "Kolorganism" exhibition, he builds upon the ideas of both Strzemiński and Kandyński, creating art that explores contemporary vision and perception. His works fit into Strzemiński's concept of the historical evolution of perception, and at the same time reflect Kandyński's abstract approach to form, line and color as autonomous means of expression. Blejzyk's works, drawing inspiration from nature, go beyond its literal representation, building subjective, multidimensional visions. The "Kolorganism"exhibition is a contemporary artistic response to the theories of two great 20th-century thinkers.
