Concert: “Harmony of Nature and Art: The Forest Opera in Sopot – The Polish Voice in Europe”

Organized by the Dal Segno Institute Association by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, the “Harmony of Nature and Art: The Forest Opera in Sopot – The Polish Voice in Europe” concert aims to:

• Promote Polish operatic culture – showcasing the achievements of Polish opera singers and composers who have significantly contributed to the development of classical music.
• Highlight the importance of the Forest Opera in Sopot – presenting this unique venue as a space where history, nature, and art intertwine, ideally suited for opera performances in a natural setting, in the context of the Baltic Opera Festival.
• Strengthen European cultural cooperation – the concert provides an opportunity to bring together artistic communities from across Europe and emphasize Poland’s role as an active contributor to European culture.
• Unite music with nature – demonstrating the harmony between operatic art and its natural surroundings, in line with the values of sustainable development and environmental heritage.
• Promote Poland as the host of the EU Presidency – the event serves as a showcase of the Polish Presidency, underscoring its commitment to the growth of culture and the arts at the European level.
• Encourage participation in high culture – the concert is intended for both opera lovers and the broader Austrian public, offering them a chance to experience the beauty of opera performed by outstanding Polish vocalists.
