"EUROPEAN KINSHIP. An Eastern European Perspective" exhibition

The exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center in Budapest, explores contemporary notions of community in the context of challenges facing Central and Eastern Europe. The exhibition at the Robert Capa Center will feature works by 12 emerging photographers from Poland and Hungary, whose art delves into and reinterprets modern European identity.

The Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center will present the works of 12 young photographers from Poland and Hungary, whose work is based on the study and reinterpretation of contemporary European identity. The project is complemented by an extensive program of events, including portfolio reviews with invited curators to support young talent, guided tours, artist talks, Lia Dostilieva's exhibition, and a networking session with representatives from leading European photography institutions.

Additionally, the project will be accompanied by a special edition of the British Journal of Photography—the world’s oldest and most influential photography magazine—dedicated to Polish and Central European photography. Texts dedicated to Polish and Hungarian photography will also be available for free in this edition.
