Exhibition "Hop, Hug, Hooray! New children’s book illustration from Poland"

The exhibition Hop, Hug, Hooray! is an invitation to step into a vibrant, imaginative world that will delight children and adults alike. Organized by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute in collaboration with Hamelin Association and Teatro Testoni Ragazzi, it is part of the cultural program of Poland's Presidency in the European Union Council. Curated by Anita Wincencjusz-Patyna, who is an art historian and art critic, the exhibition showcases the unique talent of young Polish illustrators.
Polish children’s book illustration blends a rich tradition with modern creativity, earning widespread international recognition. The exhibition features 15 talented illustrators, including Jacek Ambrożewski, Joanna Bartosik, Dominika Czerniak-Chojnacka, Maria Dek, Agata Dudek, Emilia Dziubak, Gosia Herba, Anna Kaźmierak, Klaudia Kozińska, Gosia Kulik, Paweł Mildner, Małgorzata Nowak, Urszula Palusińska, Justyna Sokołowska, and Katarzyna Walentynowicz. Their works invite visitors into a colorful journey through daily life, shared celebrations, and the wonders of nature, reminding us how important it is to be together.
