FIDLab - Focus Poland industry event

FIDLab is the international co-production of the FIDMarseille, a place dedicated to supporting bold and innovative cinematographic projects. Aimed toward projects from development to post-production, whether it’s fiction or documentary, the FIDLab values singular artistic viewpoints, offering directors and producers a strong visibility and an opportunity to find international partners and fundings.

Each year, a dozen of carefully selected projects are presented in Marseille to a wide network of film professionals: producers, distributors, broadcasters, festival programmers and representatives of cultural institutions. “One-to-One Meetings” are then organized over the two days of the FIDLab, providing a privileged setting for creative exchanges and fruitful collaborations. FIDLab is in fact an essential stage for selected projects.

Initiated in 2019, The Focus aims to highlight the film industry of a European country with low production capacity by inviting professionals to participate in FIDMarseille and FIDLab. Three Polish production companies will be selected to present 9 projects (3 each) in the 17th edition, attend One-to-One meetings and networking events.

Industry meeting in Cannes introducing Focus Poland will take place on 5th of June 2025.
