Meet the author session with Małgorzata Lebda in Madrid
22.01–23.01.2025
Tipos Infames, Madrid, Spain
In January, Małgorzata Lebda, an acclaimed Polish poet, will hold a series of meetings with the public in Spain to accompany the premiere of the recent translation of her book “Insatiable”, published in Spanish as “Insaciable”. This translation, prepared by Abel Murcia and Katarzyna Mołoniewicz, introduces Spanish-speaking readers to the world full of intense images and reflections on nature, corporeality, and human relationship with the surrounding world. The work of Małgorzata Lebda – a laureate of, among others, Gdynia Literary Prize – is characterised by deep layers of sensitivity and rich language, which makes her writing a unique reading experience.
Programme:
- 22 January: presentation of the book at the Tipos Infames bookstore in Madrid. An interview with Małgorzata Lebda will be hosted by María Sánchez – a Spanish writer.
- 23 January: interviews for cultural press and a special edition of the book club focused around “Insaciable”, with the writer’s participation, at the Libreria Alberti bookstore in Madrid.
