Participation of Polish Artists at the Frequenz_ Festival in Kiel

This project involves collaboration of Polish Artists with the international contemporary music event Frequenz_ Festival, taking place from May 16 to 23, 2025, in Kiel, Germany. The festival is a significant cultural event focused on promoting a new generation of artists through partnerships with institutions in Germany and across Europe. Its program includes a wide range of activities such as concerts, sound installations, commissioned compositions, and educational initiatives.
This year's edition will place special emphasis on collaboration with Polish female composers and visual artists. The festival will feature:
- New compositions and sound installations by Polish artists including Marta Śniady, Karina Marusińska, and Aleksandra Słyż
- Concerts by the Wrocław-based ensemble Kompopolex
- Lectures by Marta Śniady and Aleksandra Słyż at the Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design Kiel
- Collaborative works with international artists such as Mauro Hertig and Trio Berweck-Lorenz-Lang
Additionally, on the final day of the festival (May 23), the international Kiel_Greenline Delegate Program will take place. This includes a series of presentations, a panel discussion, and meetings among leaders of cultural institutions from Nordic countries, Germany, and Austria. The program aims to strengthen institutional cooperation and explore future programming opportunities involving the Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
