Polish authors at the Prague Book Festival as part of the series “Literature - A New Chapter”

Polish literature will be significantly represented at this year’s Prague Book Festival. One of the central programme events will be a meeting with Olga Tokarczuk, laureate of the Nobel Prize in literature, which will allow Czech and international readers to become more familiar with the work of the Polish author.

During the Prague Book Festival, contemporary Polish authors and their books available to Czech reader will be presented.

• 15 May 2025: meet-the-author session with Zbigniew Rokita focused around the book “Królowie strzelców/Králové střelců”, published by Absynt.
• 17 May 2025: meet-the-author session with Olga Tokarczuk.
• 18 May 2025: meet-the-author session with Zyta Rudzka focused around the book “Ten się śmieje, kto ma zęby/ Jen zubatí se smějou”, published in Czechia by Dokořán, translated by Alžběta Knappová.
