Polish Stand at jazzahead! 2025
24.04–26.04.2025
Congress Centrum Bremen, Germany
Jazzahead! is the largest jazz industry trade fair in Europe, held annually in Bremen, Germany. It attracts the most influential figures in the global jazz scene, including artists, publishers, managers, and journalists. Thanks to its unique format combining a trade fair, festival, showcase presentations, and conferences, jazzahead! is an ideal platform for promoting Polish jazz and establishing valuable industry connections.
This year’s edition took place from April 24–26. The Adam Mickiewicz Institute provided a Polish stand along with financial and promotional support for the delegates. This year, support was extended to 11 delegates selected through an open call.
For the first time, a representative of the Blu/Bry band also joined the Polish delegation. As winners of the Jazz Juniors competition, they received a special invitation (award) from the Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
Additionally, the band Unleashed Cooperation received financial and promotional support after being selected by the jazzahead! organizers’ jury to perform a showcase concert.
The Polish stand also featured a unique initiative: the “Studio Booth Showcases” – a project created by a group of 6 musicians and their bands, who had the opportunity to present their music directly at the stand in a specially constructed studio booth. The performing artists included: Grzech Piotrowski, Wojtek Pilichowski, Krzysia Górniak, Piotr Schmidt, Gniewomir Tomczyk, Tamara Behler, Tomasz Mądzielewski, and Filip Chojnacki.
This innovative project turned out to be a highlight of the fair, drawing large audiences and significant interest.
