Screening of "Sanatorium Under The Sign Of The Hour Glass” by the Quay Brothers

An interdisciplinary project centered around the screening of the Quay Brothers’ new film The Hourglass Sanatorium, based on the prose of Bruno Schulz. The premiere of the film—co-produced by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute—took place at the Venice Film Festival in 2024. The Madrid screening of this new full-length production by the cult American filmmakers will serve as an opportunity to organize a series of accompanying events, including a concert featuring music from the album The Hourglass Sanatorium by the Polish group Bester Quartet, with special guest Grażyna Auguścik on 23 June 2025 in Casa de Burgos.
