Study Visit of foreign translators of Polish literature

The third edition of the foreign visits of translators of Polish literature, organized by the IAM, will be attended by a group of people involved in translating the works of Polish authors into foreign languages: ​​Romanian, Bulgarian, Ukrainian, Lithuanian, as well as Arabic and English.

The program includes workshops on comic book translation (led by comic book creator and educator Daniel Chmielewski), a masterclass focused on promoting literature and one's own professional work on the Internet (led by blogger and podcaster Agnieszka Budnik), as well as a meeting at the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute on issues related to the translation of dramas.

There will also be a networking meeting of translators with representatives of the most important Polish publishing houses and other institutions involved in the literary community.

Simultaneously, on June 19-21, the Big Book literary festival will take place in Warsaw, the program of which is an interesting addition to the offer of industry events.
