“Transforming The City. Postsoviet Architecture and Art” is a series of meetings and field activities led by an award-winning Polish urban designer and animator: Jacek Wielebski. Waone, Ukraine's most famous muralist, will also join in leading the workshop.

- Saturday: 5.04.25 / 12PM - 4PM / Field workshops in the city of Chisinau
Thesis:
- History: What happened in Poland after the political changes in the 1990s in the context of the large post-soviet districts.
- Reasons - Why it happened? - What happened? - Economic and social problems - How it affected the look of architecture?
- Art - good and bad examples. Street art / muralism / urban art / architectural interventions and sculpture - potential and identity of the post-soviet housing estates.
- Working with society - needs and problems of the locals - involvement of citizens in the creative process.
- How to make a project (my personal way)? From the idea to scouting the location for art, creative process, financial support.
- Case studies in the City of Chisinau.
- The art in wartime (Waone).
