World Poetry Day in Belgrade as part of the series titled “Literature - A New Chapter”

Under the curatorial supervision of Prof. Julia Fiedroczuk, a unique event focusing on modern poetry in the international dimension is going to take place. The programme provides for, among others, participation of outstanding Mexican poets: Juana Adcock and Hubert Matiuwaa, who create in a native language of Mephaa which is a unique element of the Mexican cultural heritage.

The event will take place as part of the celebration of the International Poetry Day on 21 March. This holiday, established by UNESCO in 1999, aims at promoting readership, writership, publishing and teaching poetry around the world.
